Devin Kidman, President
Devin graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Brigham Young University and is one of the founders of The People Group, Inc. Devin has been active in the employer/employment industry since 1990 and has served on the Board of Directors and as President of the Northwest Professional Employer Association. Devin was also elected as President of the Board of Directors for the Tigard Chamber of Commerce. As President of The People Group, Devin is responsible for the technical operations of the business with specific responsibility over sales and marketing, strategic development, and technical implementation.
Ed Lovett, CEO
Ed spent almost 20 years in Human Resource Management prior to co-founding The People Group. His experience includes recruiting, new employee training and management training both within the US and oversees. Additionally, he served as the Director of Human Resources for a multi-state company with over 1300 employees. He has bachelors’ degree from Chico State University and a Masters degree from Thunderbird School of Management. Ed’s primary responsibilities at The People Group are to oversee the financial stability of the company. His conservative approach has enabled the company to weather the ups and downs in the economy while ensuring The People Group meets its fiduciary obligations on behalf of its clients.
Gary Kidman, St. George
Gary has lived and worked in the St. George community since 1995. Gary has a wealth of knowledge in business and employee management. Upon graduating with a business degree from BYU, Gary has had numerous positions with both large and small organizations in the fields of sales and management including owning and operating several successful businesses. He brings real world experience to both The People Group and its clients. As an owner of The People Group, Gary started and manages the St. George office.
Betty has been with The People Group since1994. Betty graduated in accounting with a minor in business administration in China prior to moving to Portland where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Portland State University. Betty oversees all accounting and payroll activities for The People Group in ensuring that taxes and payroll reporting are accurate and on-time. Betty is known for her skills in working with the IRS and other governmental agencies and will always make sure the client is taken care of. Betty is fluent in both Mandarin and Cantonese.
Regina, Customer Service Administrator
Regina brings over 25 years of experience in office administration and customer service to The People Group including a degree in Business Management. Since 2000 Regina has often been the first contact many have had with The People Group as she manages the front office and conducts new employee orientations for our clients. Her breadth of knowledge and experience includes employee benefits, human resource administration, new hire screening, and customer service. Regina is fluent in Spanish.
Sarah, Senior Payroll Specialist
Sarah has been with The People Group since 2002. Sarah has a Legal Office Administration diploma. Prior to joining The People Group, Sarah worked for 3 years as payroll clerk for a company with over 100 employees. Sarah is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll as well as employee benefit payments and garnishments. She combines a great eye for detail with a unique knack for customer service.
